Job Description:
This is a full-time, remote position. Must reside in New Jersey due to 20% statewide travel.

  • Maintain current knowledge of government legislation and disseminate to management as it relates to Workers’Compensation
    • Oversee the internal company process for activating new accounts; transition from the sales cycle to service stage; interface with other departments within the company including Information Technology, Finance and Workers’ Compensation to assure client needs will be met
    • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients through ongoing and effective communications and on-site visits; has sensitivity to client needs
    • Maintain communication and facilitate meetings with clients to review claims and discuss concerns as they pertain to medical bill repricing, reporting of claims and nurse case management issues.
    • Serve as a single point of contact for clients to address inquiries and attend regularly scheduled client meetings to report statistical information including Percentage of Savings on medical bills, medical bill trends, updates from the medical community and overall claim activity.
    • Seek and prepare for new sales opportunities in the Workers’ Compensation arena inclusive of providing formal responses to Request for Proposal both from existing clients as well as potential new business.
Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

BS/BA preferred


Required Skills and Experience:

2-3 years Workers’ Compensation in managed care; project management;

1-2 years effective presentation performance; exposure to health care legislation


Desired Skills and Experience:

Excellent knowledge and application of documentation systems;

PC proficiency to include; MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

Superior oral and written communications
