Position Summary:
The Client Intake Specialist will process all tasks associated with taking on new clients of the Firm via Intapp Open software, such as processing of workflow requests and returning workflow requests for additional/correct information. Additionally, the Client Intake Specialist serves as the liaison to the Ethics and Rates, Fees & Engagement Committees by addressing requests for information and routing of NBI workflows which require approval and enforcement of committee guidelines.At this time, candidates who would work in the following states will not be considered for this role: VT, RI, NY, NJ, NH, MI, ME, MA, DE, CO, CT, CA, and AZ.
Essential Functions:
- Process all new business requests via Intapp Open software — including returning requests to users/departments for additional information/clarification, ensuring all necessary documents are attached and accessible, resolving technical issues related to request processing. Suggest enhancements to the NBI workflow, working with internal/external programmers to beta test updates.
- Edit client/matter information as submitted via Client Matter Maintenance requests.
- Provide securities trading clearances and follow-up actions.
- Conduct conflict checks during periods of peak times and/or overflow.
- Provide orientation in conflicts and new business to newly hired Columbus legal secretaries.

- Ability to prepare, comprehend and explain complex reports utilizing a relational database
- Excellent organization, prioritization and attention to detail

- Basic computer navigation skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Desired:
- Intapp Open, 3E and Microsoft Excel experience
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in related discipline required. Business or English degree preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in similar field required.
- Law firm conflict/new business intake, risk management experience preferred.
