Client Engineering Team Lead

Reports To: Sr Director - Continuous Improvement

Location: Chicago, IL

Environment: Hybrid

Status: Exempt, Salaried

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and hybrid Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Purpose of Your Work:

As a Client Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for supporting Redwood’s clients and Business Development Department through development of recurring reporting, custom client analytics, and utilization of decision support tools to aid in client retention and continuous improvement.

How You Make a Difference Everyday:

Lead and work alongside a team of Analysts to:

  • Collect, analyze, and process data to develop and present cost-effective solutions for current and potential clients
  • Develop and maintain client and prospect analytics infrastructure through Tableau, MG Edge, Excel, OTM, etc.
  • Support customer carrier strategy projects through analysis and rate management
  • Perform ad hoc analytics and provide decision support for client projects
  • Develop analytics and continuous improvement framework with a focus on repeatability and automation
  • Lead customer onboarding as it relates to KPI development, project savings methodology, and reporting mechanisms
  • Assign responsibilities amongst team members and ensure consistent coverage through appropriate resource allocation and cross training
  • Coach and support team members to grow their technical and professional skills
  • Ensure team adherence to acceptable standards, processes, and quality
  • Consistently ensure data validation and integrity

  • Experience working with data, analytics, reporting or other similar technical work
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic, critical thinker
  • Collaborates and works well in a team environment
  • Strong detail-orientation, planning and organizational skills, and time management
  • Ability to build new relationships
  • Customer facing experience preferred
  • Formal or informal leadership experience preferred
