Client Advisor Portfolio Manager (Alternative Investments) | Portsmouth, NH
Your Role
We are looking for an exceptional Client Advisor Portfolio Manager (VP level) to support the growth of our firm. This is an opportunity to work alongside individuals who are united by a strong sense of teamwork, service and excellence.
The Client Advisor Portfolio Manager (CAPM) for Jordan Park Access Solutions (JPAS) will be responsible for the following, including but not limited to:

  • Lead the development and execution of the communications and fundraising efforts for the firm's alternative investment platform (JPAS), serving as a key representative and CAPM for the investment platform to the firm's Client Advisors and client community
  • Create and execute a compelling Client Advisor roadmap, partnering with senior investment platform leadership for strategic positioning & building relationships with internal and external stakeholders via internal roadshows, communication materials, and client meetings
  • Develop marketing and quarterly update materials for multibillion-dollar fund-of-funds and direct multi-asset class investment program that encompasses public equities and Alternative Investments (including credit; emerging markets; strategic equity partnership; real assets; private equity; venture capital; and impact strategies)
  • Support the understanding and importance of the investment platform within the business by leading regular internal presentations to different parts of the business, including to senior leadership
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the capital and private asset markets. Monitor news sources for firm and industry information and communicate key issues and themes to senior leadership
  • Lead responses to ad hoc investor inquiries and all diligence related requests for client-sourced private investment opportunities
  • Lead the build out of a database of first class, standard marketing materials, market updates, and FAQ responses and participate in the delivery of this content to relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to the team's strategic initiatives and process improvements

Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of experience interacting with investors and a strong investor relations / client portfolio management track record across one or more of the following alternative investment asset classes - Equity, HF,RE,PE,VC, Credit, Impact Investing preferably at an RIA, Private Bank or a multi-family office
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting; MBA or CFA Charter Holder preferred
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital and private asset markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry
  • Communicates effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and personalities, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements preferred
  • Intimately familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
  • Entrepreneurial and client-centric professional who is a proven executor, detail-oriented, and can effectively manage competing priorities on tight deadlines
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Adept at managing challenges and finding creative solutions
  • Exercises discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Willing to travel as necessary to accomplish job functions

Compensation & Benefits
