Our company is currently seeking an experienced accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for client accounting services. An experienced recruit may move into a fractional controllership position as a Client Advisor overseeing an accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
- Compute and record numerical data
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields. [Full Charge Bookkeeping experience is a minimum requirement]. Will consider recent graduates if a CPA candidate or holds a BBA degree or other bachelor's degree with an accounting major.
- Understanding of growing small businesses is a requirement. Experience developing workflows, processes and procedures for the small to medium sized business is essential.
- Prior experience with Sage Intacct or other mid range accounting system like Netsuite or Dynamics, a plus
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft 365 applications a plus
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Disciplined to work remotely and communicate with clients via various meeting platforms.
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- If the candidate holds a CPA license or is a CPA candidate, your ability to develop business or bring clients with you is a plus.
Banks & Associates is a strategic advisory firm providing services to small business clients that include accounting and fractional CFO and controller services. In addition, we provide financial analysis and underwriting services for banks and other non-bank lenders. Commission is available for loan underwriting and successful closings.
