  THE SCHOOL BOARD OF HIGHLANDS COUNTY
POSITION TITLE: Clerk
ASSIGNMENT: Clerk 2 
                 
        MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. A high school diploma or equivalent
  2. Two (2) years experience in a clerical or paraprofessional position
  3. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential functions and tasks which may include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force as frequently as necessary; lifting, crawling, kneeling, bending, stooping, pulling, and pushing, if required.
  4. Satisfactory clearance of a criminal history records check and drug screening

ADDITIONAL DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  1. Demonstrates skill in use of office equipment, including computers
  2. Knowledge of appropriate office practices and procedures involving complex problems and situations

PRIMARY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Performs duties as needed in specifically assigned school and/or department

ADDITIONAL DUTIES: 

Other duties as assigned by supervising administrator

TERM: 

Length of contract and number of hours worked are determined by specific allocation as approved annually during planning-budgeting

APPRAISAL: 

Performance will be appraised annually in accordance with School Board policies

AY GRADE: 

According to the School Board of Highlands County Non-instructional Support Personnel Salary Schedule
