Clerical Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented manager to join our team. The Clerical Supervisor will be responsible for direct supervision of clerical personnel. Acts as a resource to both the clerical and provider staff. Facilitates and implements processes to provide professional customer service to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and directs the daily work of the clerical staff (front desk, scheduling and operator positions)
- Manages the clerical staff PTO requests and prepares monthly work schedules accordingly
- Point of contact for clerical staff when calling in
- Provides clerical support if short-staffed or as needed in the clerical department
- Coordinates monthly clerical meetings including: scheduling, preparing agendas and leading staff

- Answers clerical questions from staff and providers customer service to patients/families

Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative manager role preferred

- Ability to instruct, direct and evaluate clerical staff
- Proficient in computerized systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and basic office management principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
