CaliClear Inc. is a swimming pool service, repair and installation company based in Fresno, CA. We are looking for a Clerical Officer who can assist with the day-to-day activities of our company. We are a fast-growing swimming pool service company and are looking for someone who wants a long-term career with CaliClear Inc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is punctual and is ready to work. Someone with organizational skills who can work independently and someone who can multitask with very little supervision. Someone who is outgoing and friendly is important to us.
This is a part-time position but can be transitioned into a full-time position after 90 days from your start date if you meet all our requirements below. Learning and understanding the swimming pool industry is required. Office experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties such as data entry, photocopying, filing, and maintaining records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and other communications.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff.
- Input and update information in databases, spreadsheets, and other records.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for documents and records.
- Retrieve and provide information upon request.
- Interact with customers, distributors, and visitors, providing assistance and information.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Prepare and format documents such as letters, memos, reports, and presentations. Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Operate and maintain office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and fax machines.
- Ensure that office equipment is in good working order and arrange for repairs when needed.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating events, meetings, and projects.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Ensure that activities and processes comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Prioritize and manage tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Assist in managing the schedules and calendars of key personnel.
- Identify and resolve routine administrative problems.
- Escalate issues to higher-level staff when necessary.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
