Clearing Manager

Job Title:Clearing Manager

Department: Operational Management - Clearing

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: New York City (Fully On-site)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for day-to-day supervision of the Clearing Division ensuring proper execution of processing, as well as generally efficient operations.
2. Responsible for the Bank’s clearing business, clearing strategy, clearing compliance management, revision of policies and procedures, and improvement of internal controls;
3. Responsible for the establishment, development, and improvement of clearing-related systems;
4. Responsible for the implementation of the ISO20022 standard migration;
5. Responsible for the development of clearing network and channels, maintaining a regular communicative relationship with the agent banks;
6. Responsible for studying the regulatory standards and development trends of the clearing industry, and planning the long-term development strategy of the Bank’s clearing business;
7. Responsible for reporting and communicating with the Head Office on relevant work;
8. Responsible for the coordination and execution of regulatory reporting, internal and external audits, and other related matters;
9. Responsible for other tasks related to operational management as requested by the Head of Operations.

Specific Work Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from a four-year college or university.
2. Five to seven years of related experience and training.
3. Priority will be given to those with relevant work experience in Chinese banks (3 years above), and fluency in Mandarin is preferred
4. Have a strong ability to write materials in Chinese
5. Have strong organizational and coordination skills, system development & implementation experience or project management skills
