Cleared Cisco Network Security Engineer

As a Network Security Engineer, your job duties include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, virtual private networks (VPNs), and other network monitoring tools against intrusions. You need technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to carry out your Network Security tasks. Your job is to ensure that your company’s internal networks are protected from potential online threats, like hackers and malware that can steal or corrupt sensitive data from websites, computer programs, databases, and servers. You need to remain current with new developments in the field to master fast-evolving Network Security technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study required.
• 10 years of relevant IT work experience, to include five years in information security field, preferably in an environment certified and compliant with a globally recognized Security Framework / Information Security Management System (NIST SP 800-53, ISO27001, HIPAA, SOX, PCI).
• At least one professional information security certification required (CCNP-Security, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, and/or SANS GIAC).
• Knowledge of Cisco products
