Cleaner/Janitor

ATTENTION: THE DAY PORTER SHIFT IS ON A WEEKLY ON-CALL BASIS AND THE CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN THE ST. PETERSBURG AREA & HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.

JobTime: Flexible pick-up shifts can range from 8 AM-8:30 PM from Monday - Friday. We are looking for a committed individual who can work these shifts when they become available in addition to there regular evening shift.

Mandatory Days: Monday - Friday from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Starting pay at $14.75/hr and can go up to $17.75/hr within 6-12 months of employment

Essential Functions

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
• Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Responsibilities

• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment
• Gathers and empties trash
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms
• Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
