SalaryBoston Harbor City Cruises is seeking a Cleaner for our operation in Boston, MA.

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.
About the Opportunity:
The successful Restaurant Cleaner is a motivated, dependable self-starter, has a positive attitude, and possesses good communication skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment, keeping the vessels and facilities clean and “Show Ready” at all times.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Comply with safety practices, policies, and procedures.
- Cleaning common areas (restrooms, offices, dining areas, hallways) including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning, and emptying trash.
- Work with a “safety-first” attitude.
- Ensure all facility, guest and crew accidents, incidents, safety hazards, and violations, including those that create harm, are promptly reported and the necessary forms are completed.
- Communicate with Senior Management regarding any issues affecting health, welfare, and safety of guests, crew, assets, and facilities.
- Seek ways to minimize impact on the environment at all times.
- Demonstrate RESPECT values and QUEST Hospitality Behaviors with internal and external guests.
- Additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in Cleaning and Maintenance.
- Flexible schedule.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, rotate, and reach frequently.
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders safely.
- Ability to maneuver in and around small/confined areas within the vessel.
- Must be able to keep balance on a docked vessel while completing various position duties.
- Ability to problem solve basic repairs.
- Be able to work in a variety of temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
