Position: Full Time Classroom Teacher (Grades K-4)
Description: SAU #53 is seeking a full time Certified General Education Teacher (Grades K-4) with experience and desire to work with students in an Alternative Elementary School setting, educating students with behavior needs. This is an SAU based position and will require working collaboratively with each of the SAU elementary schools. This position starts in the 2023-2024 school year.
Job Summary: This position requires skills working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, inclusive practices, supporting and working with families and excellent collaboration skills with the special education team in a school setting. Strong skills in Universal Design for Learning and accommodations are a must.
Qualifications: Current NH general education certification for grades K-4 is a must and demonstrated success with relationship building, behavior management, and collaboration. NH certification for special education is a plus.
