About the Position
Ensemble Music Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional Classical Guitar instructor to teach part-time at Northwest School of Music our Austin, TX location. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON!
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in guitar performance or pedagogy(preferred), a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $28-32/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job.

Ensemble Schools is a partnership of community-driven music schools that maintain individual identities but share resources to ensure their mutual success. This posting is for Northwest School of Music. The Northwest School of Music offers private, weekly music lessons in a clean, safe, fun and family oriented environment. Since 2004, we have taught thousands of students from Austin, Cedar Park and central Texas. Our experienced and enthusiastic staff of University degreed music instructors teach lessons in guitar (acoustic and electric), piano, electric bass guitar, drums, voice, violin and ukulele.
