Position Summary: Join Shepherd Electric Supply for a key role in our Richmond, Virginia route. Requirements: 3+ years driving experience, clean record, and current DOT Certification card. Must lift 80 lbs., drive a manual transmission, and have air brake system knowledge. Apply now to be part of our dynamic team.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:00 am – 12:00 pm
Pay: $30.00/hr
Essential Functions:
- Transporting material via minimum 26 ft box/flatbed trucks (manual and automatic trans)
- Local driving experience, a must
- Loading trucks for deliveries and unloading trucks, when needed
- Handling general warehouse duties such as wrapping pallets with handheld shrink wrap
- Picking and packing customer orders for the second shift position
- Performs all other associated tasks assigned by the Leadership team
Job Qualifications:
- Class A CDL required
- Current DOT Certification card required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience, with a clean motor vehicle record required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
- Ability to drive a tractor-trailer with manual transmission
- Knowledge of air brake systems
- Forklift certification preferred
- Available for second shift, as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
