Class A Cdl- Hazmat Tanker Driver (Home Daily!!)

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a semi-truck to transport hazardous materials to designated locations

• Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery

• Load and unload hazardous materials using appropriate tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

Driver Qualifications:

Must Have:

• Louisiana Resident residing within a 30-mile radius of Shreveport, LA

• Class A CDL with Tankers and Hazmat endorsements

• 18 months verifiable CDL driving experience

• Capable of operating both manual and automatic transmission semi-trucks

• Clean MVR and able to pass background and drug screening

• Active TWIC card and current DOT Medical Card

• Proficiency in utilizing technology such as Android Tablets, GeoTab, and Bluetooth printers

• Ability to load and unload hazardous material safely and efficiently

• Strong attention to detail, time management, communication, and customer service skills

• Self-motivated and a self-starter

Additional Qualifications:

• Liquid Propane Certification and Oil Field experience are a plus

• Knowledge of semi-truck automotive repair and maintenance is a plus

• Ability to operate manual transmission semi-trucks is a plus

Pay:

• Employee Type: Contractor- 1099

• Range: $1500-$1800/week DEPENDENT UPON LOAD VOLUME
