CDL-Class A Truck driver
We are looking for a CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. Driver will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of construction materials and equipment to and from the project site.
Essential Role & Responsibilities:
- Safely Operate heavy haul vehicles, such as tractors, flatbeds and trailers in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
- Inspect truck pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and loads.
- Load and unload tooling and equipment.
- Track all driving activity via Fleetmatics system, noting any vehicle maintenance and driving hours in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain all load documents.
- Follow all permit routing instructions.
- Coordinate with Logistics Supervisor and Shop Manger to maintain efficient delivery schedules and info of any route delays.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, on the road and at the jobsite!
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL Driver’s license
- Clean driving record and proven safety record
- 3+ years of heavy haul experience, prefer Lowboy experience
- Ability to navigate a variety of construction vehicles and equipment for loading/unloading
- Must be able to handle a physical workload, lift 50+ lbs
- Strong time management skills
- Occasional overnights, or out of time work, hotel provided.
- Any additional endorsements a plus.
- Must pass a drug test and background check
$25-$35/hr DOE
