In this role, you will be equipped for a career as a Claims Adjuster where you will be responsible for helping injured employees return to a productive life and for empowering businesses to succeed. Upon completion of the trainee program, you will be assigned to one of our four regional offices including Austin, Dallas, Houston, and Lubbock. To be considered for this program, candidates must be willing to temporarily relocate for up to twelve weeks of training at our headquarters in Austin, Texas beginning in April 2024. Relocation assistance (including housing, travel, and meals) is available.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Essential Job Functions:
Participate in a full-time, comprehensive training program (up to 12 weeks, primarily in-person) designed to prepare you for a career as an insurance professional. Successfully complete the Texas Worker's Compensation licensing class and subsequent exam.
During the training program, you will also learn the skills required to:
- Communicate, educate, and assist injured employees in navigating the workers' compensation system.
- Collaborate with the policyholder, provider, and injured employee to ensure quality care and a return to productive life.
- Evaluate claims for coverage, compensability, and benefit determination. Ensure benefits are delivered timely and accurately.
- Maintain caseload and case files.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and proper claim handling.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
- Excellent critical thinking, empathy, desk management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
