Claims Technical Analyst (Hybrid Or Remote)

We currently have an opportunity for a Claims Technical Analyst to join our Claims Technical team in our Plymouth, MN or Denver, CO offices or to sit remotely nationwide. The Claims Technical Analyst will assist with large loss claim management. This position is responsible for providing technical reporting and analysis to claims senior management, as well as providing support for technical claim projects. This role works closely with the Senior Claims Director – Technical and other members of the Claims Technical Team as well as other internal business partners.
Responsibilities

• Coordinating and maintaining various monthly and quarterly reports for senior management.
• Coordinating the Operational Management Committee monthly reports and quarterly meetings.
• Coordinating Large Loss reconciliation and working with business leads to ensure reserve changes are within defined parameters.
• Coordinating Trial Reporting and working with internal business partners to ensure compliance with trial reporting protocols.
• Coordinating and maintaining weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports to support Claims Technical Team and other internal business partners.
• Participates in large loss process improvements.
• Manage and complete assigned projects.

Requirements:

• Superior Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience are required
• Familiarity with Claim files and process is required
• Strong analytical skills
  • Capable of determining and analyzing complex issues
  • Able to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Comfortable with reviewing and working with claim data reports
• Strong organizational skills
  • A proven self-starter with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Able to provide follow-through on projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to interact with internal customers
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Proficient in standard Microsoft products (PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)
• Some travel may be required

Education and Experience:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years claims or related insurance experience required

Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires but your recruiter will share more specific compensation information with you during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $51,000 – $72,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Hoboken, NJ; and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $65,000 -$75,000.
