The Claims Reassociation Clerk is responsible for the scanning, re-association and reconciliation of EFT exceptions and paper check claims. Ensures the accuracy of all data entry. May assist supervisors in strategic or managerial projects as necessary. Provides efficient, courteous and quality customer service to both internal and external customers. Other responsibilities as required.

Responsibilities:

• Scans, re-associates and reconciles daily EFT exceptions, credit card, and paper
  check claims. Meets daily quality and timing standards.
• Reassociates all claims on the Nonpayment ERA report weekly
• Updates patient addresses in Open Dental based on the daily Mail Louisville
  change of address report.
• Calls insurance carriers when necessary to reconcile the ERA or to retrieve an EOB
• Supports other insurance specialists, supervisors and managers in times of
  heavy claims influx.
• Recognize and report when paper checks or EFTs without an ERA are received in
  order to increase automation.
• Promotes a “team first” attitude by demonstrating positive and caring relationships
  and communication with co-workers

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Customer service
• Computer, copier, fax, telephone
• Dental practice management software (Preferred)
