Position Overview
The Claims Clerk IV is responsible for performing various tasks within the Claims Processing Unit. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the daily activities associated with the receipt and
distribution of incoming claim receipts and inquiries received via mail or through internal referrals. Incumbent is responsible for maintaining accurate records and files.

• Responsible for date stamping, sorting, and recording of all department mail, referrals, and inquiries.
• Date stamp, create a batch sheet and file according to receipt date.
• Give all completed batches to be scanned.
• Prints all letters from Power Stepp.
• Mail letters to providers and vendors daily.
• Ensure all supplies are ordered for unit

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical setting or in an administrative support role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
• Knowledge of other office equipment i.e. desk phone.
• Customer Service Experience a plus.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
