Job Summary:
Atlas is currently seeking a construction Claims and Change Coordinator to work on an exciting megaproject with project office located in New Rochelle, New York.
The Penn Station Access Project will provide direct Metro-North service from the Bronx, Westchester and Connecticut to Penn Station and Manhattan's West Side, providing connectivity to areas currently with limited rail service. The project consists of four new ADA-accessible passenger rail stations, over 19 miles of new and rehabilitated track work, four bridge rehabilitations, the reconfiguration of Metro-North's New Rochelle Yard, four new and one reconfigured interlockings, five new and two upgraded substations, and the modernization of signal, power and communication infrastructure.

Compensation:
$60K - $90K Annual Salary
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
The Claims and Change Coordinator is responsible for:
- Assisting Technical Leads to identify potential changes and scope impacts,
- Reviewing contract language to identify scope changes,
- Assisting in preparation of request for proposals
- Assisting in preparation of change orders
- Updating the Change (Event) Log, saving change-related documents in respective electronic folders, keeping track of issue status (estimates, change summaries, etc.)
- Provide detailed reports to Senior Management on change management status,
- Creating Physical Folders for Change Orders,
- Maintain change order tracker
- Other actions as necessary
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 0-2 years of prior experience in Change Order/Office Engineer experience
- Experience with major NYS capital construction agencies, and specifically with MTA preferred
