Carollo Engineers is a nationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities. We are seeking a an Entry levelCivil/Environmental Engineer to help our growing Houston office deliver water, wastewater, and stormwater projects to clients across southeast Texas.

Responsibilities
- Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
- Work on engineering planning and design projects
- Prepare reports
- Develop plans and specifications
- Prepare cost estimates for various water, wastewater, and/or stormwater projects
- System modeling
- Permitting and alternative analysis
- Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
- Data entry and analysis
- Provide engineering services during construction
- Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental or other similar Engineering field
- Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design
- Engineer-in-Training Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 0 to 3 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
- Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and water and sewer hydraulic calculations/modeling software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM)
