```Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Estimator to join our team. As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle. If you have a strong background in construction estimating, negotiation skills, and Project Management, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough analysis of project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates - Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes - Utilize industry-standard software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to prepare detailed cost breakdowns - Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients, ensuring compliance with contract requirements - Negotiate pricing and contracts with subcontractors and suppliers - Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing cost control measures - Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure projects stay within budget - Provide support during project execution, addressing any cost-related issues that may arise - Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, contracts, and other relevant documentation Skills: - Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques - Proficiency in using software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for estimating purposes - Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers - Solid understanding of Project Management principles and practices - Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents - Strong analytical skills to perform detailed cost breakdowns and analysis - Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders including project managers, architects, subcontractors, and clients - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimating costs - Knowledge of cost control methods to monitor project expenses If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction estimating and possess the required skills, we invite you to apply for this position.
