Civil Engineering Intern - Bridge Inspection | Bridge Design

PRIME AE Group, Inc. (www.primeeng.com), a multi-faceted and rapidly growing architectural and engineering firm with 20 office locations and over 475 employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast and Northeast areas, are seeking Civil Engineering Interns for our Baltimore, MD office to join the existing Bridge Inspection | Bridge Design Team.

Position Description:

• This role will take part in Bridge Inspection and/or design.
• You will perform field visits to local structures and assist in performing inspections.
• You will learn systems and software that include SAM and ASIR, and bridge Design and CAD Software.
• You will gain experience in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• You will take part in writing and reviewing inspection reports.
• You will take part in design projects assisting in the development of contract plans, quantity and estimate derivation, and geometric layout.
• You will be work as part of a team, with Engineers, Project Managers, and Technical Staff.
• You will employ excellent interpersonal and communication skills in working with our Bridge Inspection/design team.
