Job description

Kimley-Horn is looking for upcoming or recent Engineering graduates to join our West Palm Beach, Florida (FL) office overhead utility undergrounding team!


    • Work on a variety of projects, such as undergrounding overhead electrical and communications lines, coordinating electrical and communications utilities for new developments, photometrics and lighting, and more. 
    • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
    • Utilize technical software programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS Pro on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and review deliverables for our clients.
    • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
    • Assist with technical specification and report writing

  • An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2024 in one of the following majors:
    • Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
    • Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering
    • Engineering Technology
