Civil Engineer, Pe

Anchor Talent has partnered with a mid-sized Engineering firm to identify Professional Civil Engineers (PE) to join their teams in Fort Worth and surrounding cities as well as San Antonio, TX. As the Engineer, you will oversee all design projects including planning, designing, and partnering with teams on the construction and maintenance of structures and facilities such as airports, railroads, roadways, channels, irrigation projects, pipelines, bridges, and water/sewage systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and perform project management tasks; create and track budgets, oversee all scheduling of projects, review construction documents as needed
• Partner and oversee Designers and Graduate Engineers to create civil drawings and mock-ups
• Analyze and interpret survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data
• Design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures, following construction and government regulations and standards
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, and program modifications
• Manage project quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
• Facilitate customer meetings and prepare or present reports: bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements, or property and right-of-way descriptions.
• Perform construction administration duties
• Review all construction document revisions with the Engineer of Record.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related degree
• 4+ years of experience designing civil structures and site development.
• Intermediate skill level in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Texas Professional Engineer License (will consider EIT)
