QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar, required
- 3+ years of experience in Civil Engineering field
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification strongly preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Project work experience and knowledge of feature lines, precise grading, surfaces, and drainage using Civil3D is ideal
- Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to self-direct and self-check plan sets and reports, along with others work product
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D as well as Microsoft Office software, to include Word, Excel, word processing, and spreadsheet management programs
Salary Ranges: $68,000 - $80,000
Responsibilities:
- Civil Engineering infrastructure design that primarily includes roadway design, green streets, complete streets, stormwater capture and treatment, precise grading, and ADA curb ramp design
- Support preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates;
- Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects;
- Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and interface with other engineering disciplines and utility infrastructure;
- Collaborate with a team to create unified solutions and create seamless deliverable sets
