Form of workKimley-Horn and Associates (KHA), a national design engineering/planning firm, is looking to hire a Civil Designer to be part of our Land Development team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- High level of proficiency with cut/fill balance grading design in Civil 3D.
- Ability to lead plan preparation from acquisition of survey data and base map preparation through final mylars and record drawings with minimal direction.
- Ability to set up and manage AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards.
- Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings.
- Willingness to mentor and teach others.
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self starter.
- High School Diploma
- 8+ years of experience working on Land Development projects
- Strong proficiency working with Civil 3D
- Working experience in the preparation of construction plans and documents
- Experience providing mentorship and training staff preferred
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn #LI-HT1
