This position assists Engineers in application of principles, methods, and techniques of engineering technology by performing the following duties.
- Assists in the analysis of data received by others to plan and design projects.
- Assists in site or field investigations.
- Assists in the preparation of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and permits for projects.
- Assists engineers in checking of work prepared by drafters and engineering designers.
- Performs minor design of portions of routine projects under direction of Project Engineer, or other responsible staff member and applies engineering fundamentals.
- Performs basic CADD drafting on a regular basis to produce designs into complex, non-routine, final drawings.
- Uses AutoCAD in calculations of dimensions and distances
- Be able to visualize from two dimension to three dimension and produce drawings in three dimensions.
- Research discipline-related code issues and present interpretation.
- Provide coordination of all applicable project discipline’s drawings and specifications.
- Understand and utilize engineering technical terminology.
- Responsible for job specific standards, practices and quality as defined in BRPH CAD Standards.
- May provide guidance, mentoring, instruction, and supervise daily tasks of drafting staff.
- Promotes communications, cooperation and quality among discipline and team members.
- Associates degree or equivalent with 2 years of experience or
- Bachelors degree

Salary range - $68,000 - $88,000 per year
