Civil Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Work with engineering and landscape staff to prepare grading / site / utility design plans using Civil 3D;
• Prepare stormwater designs, drainage calculations and stormwater reports;
• Prepare septic designs;
• Prepare feasibility studies;
• Prepare permit applications and assist with the local permitting approval process;
• Assist survey staff with preparation of existing conditions and various survey plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (E.I.T desirable);
• Soil Evaluator Certification, and septic system design experience a plus;
• Design experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D required;
• Hydrology/hydraulics experience using HydroCAD;
• Ability to work with clients, town boards, cooperating subs, and other project related parties to maintain smooth project management;
• Excellent teamwork, communication and people skills;
• Self-directed, organized and self-motivated to accomplish goals.
