Job Title: City Clerk/Water Clerk
Job Type: Full-time, 32-40 hours per week
Salary: Based on experience, $15-20 per hour

Seeking a City Clerk/Water Clerk for our municipality. Duties include attending meetings, maintaining records, handling finances, and providing administrative support. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to public service are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend City Council and committee meetings, taking accurate minutes.
Maintain public records and provide current city information as required.
Assist in budget preparation and manage various city funds.
Collaborate with county officials on tax assessments.
Perform general office tasks including payroll processing and bill collection.
Support auditors during audits and assist with customer inquiries.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with office and accounting experience.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to obtain municipal clerk certification.
City government knowledge preferred.
