Network Engineering – Cisco Voice/Collaboration Engineer

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Cisco Voice/Collaboration Engineer for JBS that will report to the Corporate Office in Greeley, CO.  Our business is growing, which emphasizes the need to build a skilled telecom operations team that provides strategic solutions and new ideas.

JBS USA is seeking a Cisco Voice/Collaboration Engineer who can design, implement and manage standards-based data communication networks.  Our Field Network Engineering group is responsible for providing a robust and reliable data communications infrastructure between and within 100+ facilities in North America.

Our Network Engineering Team supports global voice, video, and collaboration services.  You will design and support our Cisco Voice and Collaboration environments.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with both Cisco IP telephony and collaboration for supporting both on-premise solutions and cloud-based solutions
• Lead improvement programs and managing telecom upgrade/enhancement projects
• Provide telecom engineering support, consultation, and development
• Support multi-site conferencing
• Oversee the health and maintenance of global voice systems
• Work occasion extended hours during evening, weekends, and holidays as required for system maintenance and projects
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Possess a basic understanding of Cisco licensing
• Maintain complete technical documentation
• Participate in a 24/7 on call rotation
• Travel within North America for projects and deployments as required
• Perform related tasks as required 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related subject. Equivalent work experience in a related field considered
• 5+ years of Cisco IP Telephony/Collaboration design and implementation experience
• SIP Trunking
• CCNP-Collaboration desirable
• Ability to work independently and be highly flexible 
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $90,000-$110,000; and
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
