Summary of Position:
The Continuous Improvement Specialist will be responsible for reviewing our current production
processes and identifying areas that need improvement. You will lead efforts to implement changes and
train employees to increase effectiveness, efficiency and reduce costs. CI Specialist will work
collaboratively with our Operations and Quality Assurance team to ensure measurable results,
documenting change and reporting progress to senior management including leadership team.

Ensure cleanliness around facility, freezer and production area.
Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Drive Continuous Improvement by developing and implementing systems and process
improvements that optimize all phases of the operations process; be actively involved in the development and implementation of long term improvement initiatives.
Oversee production WO closing and organization.
Organize, leads, and facilitates cross-functional teams including leveraging existing resources
Develop metrics that provide data for process measurements, identify indicators for future
improvement opportunities, and collects data to identify root causes
Measures performance against process requirements, aligns improvements to performance gaps,
provides recommendations to improve process performance and will perform cost and benefit analysis
Develop presentations and training courses to include: measurements, analysis, and process improvements
Act as a facilitator and cross-functional coach to obtain buy-in, resolve conflict, and deliver results while challenging conventional thinking
Trains all levels of the organization in the fundamentals of Continuous Improvement using
appropriate process improvement tools and methodologies
Maintains organized documentation of all technical information and decision making process
Collaborates with leadership to develop a Continuous Improvement Plan, driving Best-in-Class Performance
Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) years of production experience is required.
Methodology, Standard Work, 5S Workplace Organization, 5 WHY’s
Experience influencing growth in a High-Performance Organization with self-directed work teams preferred
Ag industry experience preferably
Demonstrated success in improving and sustaining results
Experience developing employee training programs for all levels of the organization.
Able to influence and work with employees within all levels of the organization
