SalaryThe Salisbury University Libraries are seeking qualified applicants for the part-time position of Circulation Assistant at the Guerrieri Academic Commons, the main library of Salisbury University.
Primary Job Duties: Oversee the building and the Circulation Desk during weekday, evening, and weekend hours. Open and close the building, use library computer systems to provide customer service and library circulation services to members of the campus community and the general public, supervise student workers at the Circulation Desk, and identify and respond to problems.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, no experience, and good computer skills, detail-oriented, excellent customer service skills, ability to follow established procedures and enforce policies.
The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication skills, and create a welcoming and supportive environment for all library patrons.
Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of clerical or library experience.
This is a part-time contractual position for up to 19 hours per week. Pay is $16.19/hour.
