CIP Analyst
Position Summary:
The CIP Analyst is responsible for supporting our military customer’s Mission Assurance (MA)and Critical Infrastructure Program (CIP) and serving as a subject matter expert influencing policy and program development.
The CIP Analyst will review MA related program policy and advise Marine Corps program management on the development and review of policy, plans, and directives ensuring compliance with DoD policies and directives specific to protection related programs. The II MEF CIP Analyst supports actions to prevent, remediate, or mitigate risks resulting from vulnerabilities of defense critical infrastructure to project, support, and sustain military forces and operations worldwide. The II MEF CIP Analyst assists in identifying potential vulnerabilities and enabling risk-based determinations to remediate risks, and if degradation occurs, minimize the impact to the overall mission and enable continued execution of missions.
Essential Functions:
- Help to organize meetings, events, and travel as needed.
- Draft briefs for internal and external use
- Participate in conferences, working groups, meetings, and other events, as needed
- Provide technical input to proposals, articles, brochures, reports, and manuals, as needed
- Generate reports, briefs, and products
- Prepare and make presentations on various topics
- Serve as advisor to II MEF on CIP and MA matters
- Respond to DoD and Service-wide tasks and provide logistical and program support on CIP related matters
- Develop and deliver briefings for internal and external consumption on CIP and MA topics
- Prepare graphical, oral, written reports, briefs, and products for multiple programs encompassed within the Mission Assurance umbrella.
- Assist in the coordination of staffing and research for DoD and Navy policies, directives, and initiatives Develop assessment schedules, reports, plan of action and milestones
- Review and assist in developing corrective action plans to MA assessment, devising risk mitigation and remediation actions that address identified vulnerabilities
- Assist in the scheduling and coordination of MA assessments, supporting the assessment team with data and logistics as requested
- Assist the client in making recommendations and reviewing submissions to the Marine Corps Critical Asset Identification Process

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors
- Minimum 2-7 years of work experience
Additional Requirements:
- Security Clearance: Obtaining a DoD TS-SCI Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for clearance level required for the job
- Valid Passport: Possession of a current passport with a minimum of 8 months remaining until the expiration date.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and capability to travel, CONUS and OCONUS approximately 25% of the time.
- Telecommunication is authorized for this role.
- Work Environment Compliance: Commitment to maintaining a drug-free work environment, U.S. Citizenship, and possession of a valid state driver's license.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with US Department of Defense (DoD)
