Chocolatier/Candy Maker

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Candy Maker to join our team. As a Candy Maker, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing candies. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity in the food industry.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook various types of candies, including hard candies, chocolates, caramels, and truffles
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate candy-making equipment, such as stoves, mixers, and molds
- Monitor cooking temperatures and adjust as needed
- Decorate candies using various techniques, such as dipping, drizzling, or piping
- Package finished candies in an attractive and hygienic manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the candy-making area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a culinary or food production role, preferably in cake decorating, pastry, or restaurant settings
- Knowledge of candy-making techniques and recipes
- Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
