Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers is a CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Center) located in South Central Oklahoma and is searching for a self-motivated, dynamic, and team-oriented counselor in a Carter County School (FT) and in the Children's outpatient clinic (PRN). This position will provide outpatient therapy services to children/families experiencing behavioral health issues on an outpatient basis with an integrated approach to care.

A. Under general direction, provides outpatient services to children and families in our Carter County office.

B. Participates in the planning and delivery of therapeutic clinical services to consumers and families in a wraparound team approach.

C. Completes assessments, integrated treatment planning, and therapy services to an assigned caseload of children and families.

D.  Assignment will consist of working hours reflective to a Carter County school district schedule to provide assessment, group therapy, and individual therapy to students from Pre-K through high school as referred by school personnel.

E. Provide consultation and training to school personnel regarding trauma, suicide prevention, and education regarding behavioral health issues in the classroom.

A. Completion of the curriculum requirements of a Master’s degree in a Mental Health or substance abuse related field from an accredited university and two (2) years' experience in a professional capacity involving the delivery of clinical service or, any equivalent combination of education and experience.

B. Oklahoma State Licensure as a LPC, LBP, LMFT, LCSW or LADC-MH.

C. Considerable skill in working with people, in effectively treating social, emotional and addiction problems, in expressing ideas clearly and concisely in written and oral form, in exercising good judgment in evaluating situations and in making decisions.

D. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance.
