Childcare Provider Part-Time 12Pm-6Pm

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children
- Follow a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest periods
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive interactions
- Ensure the health and safety of all children by following proper hygiene practices and maintaining a clean environment
- Communicate with supervisor about your students progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with children in a childcare center is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of infant care and early childhood education principles
- Familiarity with daycare or childcare center operations
- Ability to work well with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with parents, colleagues, and children
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle stressful moments calmly

Skills:
- Caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Ability to educate and engage children in learning activities
- Experience working with infants, toddlers and preschool students and providing appropriate care preferred but not required
- Knowledge of daycare or childcare center operations preferred but not required
- Familiarity with special education principles for children with unique needs preferred but not required
- Understanding of early childhood education concepts and techniques preferred but not required
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting is a plus

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
