Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and potty training as needed
- Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of infant care, behavior management, and early childhood education
- Ability to engage children in educational and recreational activities
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in early childhood education is a plus)
- Reliable transportation to commute to the childcare facility
