Duties

• Candidates must provide a safe and engaging environment for the children in their care.
• Show care and compassion for children and co-workers.
• Plan/assist with creating and implementing activities and lesson plans that simultaneously engage and educate children.
• In addition to teaching, you must be able to provide diverse basic care needs, including changing diapers, supplying proper nutrition, and performing cleaning duties.
• Provides for the physical safety and well-being of each child, from arrival to departure
• Attends training sessions for professional and program development

Requirements

• Must possess a love for children and an ability to relate well with them, their families, and teachers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass all criminal background checks
• Ability to pass TB test
• Enjoys collaborating and sharing ideas with fellow teachers.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain within your first 90 days of employment.
• Must have at least 6 months experience in working at a Licensed childcare facility
