Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Teacher to join our team. As a teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children under your care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children through out the day including playtime, meals, and naptime
- Provide assistance with personal hygiene tasks, such as diapering and potty training
- Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- AA in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum and early childhood development principles
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
