Child Specific Rn/Lpn

This is a part-time position with Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday being the primary days of work.

Job Summary:

All duties and responsibilities associated with the care of a high school student with academic and physical needs. The Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for the care of this student. This person will collaborate with the Director of Health Services. Training and orientation will be provided.

Qualifications: One must be a healthcare professional with a strong desire to work in a school setting with a special needs child. In addition to having strong nursing skills, the following requirements are needed:

1. Registered Nurse License (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse License (LPN)

2. Strong patient-assessment skills

3. Excellent communication and organization skills.

4. Ability to deal positively and effectively with all BCSC stakeholders.

5. Ability to maintain student documentation.

6. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

7. Experience with special needs students a plus.
