- Schedule: Full time Tues - Fri 7:30-5:00pm (Inpatient/Burn) or Part time Thurs-Sat 8-4:30pm (NICU)

Must meet professional and educational requirements as outlined by the ACLP in order to achieve your Child Life Specialist Cert within one year.
What You Will Do: Collaborate with the health care team to provide social, emotional, and developmental support during a pediatric patient's illness and hospitalization.
Responsibilities:
- Supply a caring and secure atmosphere for patients and their families in pediatrics.
- Collaborate with the health care team to plan appropriate interventions.
- Develop and/or participate in outreach and educational activities to teach families, staff, and the community about issues and services related to ill and hospitalized children.
- Maintain proper education to continue with professional development.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Child Life Professional credentialed from the Association of Child Life Professionals obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- preferred one year CCLS inpatient and/or acute care experience
