Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote child development
- Create and maintain a daily schedule for children that includes playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest time
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure a positive and respectful environment
- Collaborate with parents to understand and meet the individual needs of each child
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare area
Skills:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of special education strategies and techniques for working with children with diverse needs
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum and early childhood development principles
- Strong caregiving skills, including the ability to provide emotional support and create a nurturing environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues

Pay: $15.50 - $15.75 per hour
