Our childcare center is in search of qualified workers to help monitor and lead activities throughout the day.
Job Responsibilities:
-Supervise and lead children in all daily activities, including play time, reading hour, art projects, meals and naptime. -Educate yourself on all state compliance regulations related to childcare as well as our own internal policies and procedures, and enforce them (when necessary) in a professional yet caring manner.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care.
- Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote learning and development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues that may arise.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Follow all health and safety protocols and maintain proper hygiene practices.
Job skills & Qualifications: -Must be 18 years of age. - High school diploma or GED. - Must be able to lift 40- 50 lbs.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting, babysitting, or nannying is preferred.
- CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and co-workers.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging situations.
