The Role:

CrossFit Glen Burnie is currently looking for Child Care attendants! Child care attendants help with activities in the fitness center Child Care area. These include, but are not limited to, directing children in playing, organizing and participating in games, and maintaining a safe environment. Must like to interact with children as well as be able to lift them.

The primary duties of a Child Care Attendant include, but are not limited to:

• Helps children remove outer garments like jackets, sweaters, etc.
• Organizes and participates in games (including board and video games), reads to children, and teaches them simple drawing, songs, and similar activities.
• Helps children develop habits of caring for, picking up and putting away toys and books.
• Maintains a safe environment

The employee must regularly lift and/or move children weighing up to 50 pounds and other objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud (largely dependent on the children the employee will be supervising).

• Child CPR
• Pass a Background Check

Work Location: One location

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 22 per week
