Job Summary
iKids U is seeking a dynamic and engaging Child Care Teacher to join our team. As a Part-time Teacher at iKids U, you will deliver a variety of age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development in children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for education.
Child Care Teacher Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans that align with iKids U's curriculum and program goals
- Lead and supervise preschool/elementary-age children during after-school activities
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children
- High school diploma or equivalent, required; bachelor's degree in education or related field, preferred
- Experience working with children in a classroom, after-school, or camp setting
- Knowledge of child development, including age-appropriate activities and behavior management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPR and First Aid certification
