Child Care Supervisor Position Summary
The Child Care Supervisor is an administrative position within the department and the Medical Center, is the first line supervisor of caregivers and is to act in place of the Director’s absence.
Child Care Supervisor Position Requirements
- Hold a high school diploma or a certificate of high school equivalence, or have successfully completed at least two courses from an accredited college or university
- 90 hours in Early Education Required which includes Childhood I and II OR two (2) – 3 Credit classes in Early Childhood Curriculum and Early Childhood Development.
- 45 Clock hour course in Infant Toddler Training.
- Must be 21 years of age
- 2 years of experience working with children 5 years of age and under.
- Need to have evidence of continuing training each year as required by the Office of Child Care. Must have evidence of 12 hours of continuing training each year.
- BLS/CPR Instructor Required.
- Basic Computer Skills Required: Access, Excel, Word, Outlook.

Child Care Supervisor Benefits
- At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.

Pay: $20.19 - $30.28 per hour
