Rosslyn Children’s Center is seeking a teacher to join its knowledgeable and dedicated teaching team.
A non-profit, quality early childhood development center, RCC serves children birth through age six using the Emergent Curriculum and Reggio Emilia style of learning. Our teachers promote the success of each individual child though developmentally and age-appropriate experiences which foster growth and curiosity.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver curriculum founded on the center’s philosophies while following childcare regulations
Create positive learning environments including resources based on child-directed learning
Develop strategies using positive guidance for social emotional development
Build good, open communication with children, families and staff
Observe and record children's growth and development
Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe
Undertake administrative tasks as required
Qualifications:
- BA or AA in Early Childhood or like degree (preferred)
- Experience working in a childcare setting (required)
- Exceptional teamwork skills
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certificate (preferred)
- Background check/fingerprinting (required)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
